How to use CDBiTransfer

 

Getting registered

Existing customers

  • Visit your nearest branch
  • Complete the CDBiNet application form
  • Visit www.cdbinet.lk to set up your online account

New customers

  • Visit your nearest branch
  • Open a savings account
  • Complete the CDBiNet application form
  • Visit www.cdbinet.lk to set up your online account

 

Transferring funds through Facebook, WhatsApp, SMS (and many other messaging services)

What you need to do:

  • Log in to your CDBiNet account
  • Click “Transfers and Payments”
  • Select “iTransfer” on the right
  • Select your account and enter the amount you wish to transfer
  • Click “Next”
  • Please enter the OTP (one-time password) you received on your registered mobile phone
  • Click “Share on…” button and select the messaging service you prefer
  • Select your friend you need to receive the funds (optionally, you can also include a personal message)
  • Your friend will receive a link to redeem funds through the messaging service you chose and you will
    receive a pass code (please share this pass code with the friend)

What your friend (recipient) needs to do:

  • Following the link will direct the recipient to the page where he/she can enter his/her details and
    bank account number (CDB or any other bank)
  • After the information is added and clicked “Next”, recipient will be required to enter the pass code
    you shared (over over SMS, Facebook Messenger, What’s App, etc.)
  • After the pass code is entered and “Submit” button is pressed, the funds will be transferred to the
    bank account of the recipient selected

All features includes in CDBiControl app are applicable for CDB credit cards
